Nicole Barwick
Board Chair
Nic Barwick joined the Board in July 2020. Nic is also a member of the Finance and Audit Committee and Quality & Safety Committee. Nic is passionate about improving the customer and employee experience and creating positive change. Nicole become Board Chair in June 2022.

Ilea Buffier
Deputy Chair
Ilea Buffier joined the Board in August 2019. Ilea is a business woman based in Canberra with extensive Board experience. Ilea is also Chair of the Finance and Audit committee. Ilea became Deputy Board Chair in June 2022.

Deborah Culhane
Board Director
Deborah Culhane became a Board Director in July 2018. Deborah was elected Board Chair in August 2020 and handed over to Nicole Barwick in June 2022. Deborah is a member of Community Health Advisory Group and Quality and Safety Committee.

Katherine Waterford
Board Director
Kate Waterford joined the Board in April 2021. Kate is an experienced non-executive director in the health sector, with expertise in community and consumer perspectives on health care; and is a practicing lawyer in Canberra. Kate is Chair of the Quality & Safety Committee.

Ian Cesa
Board Director
Ian Cesa Joined the Board in January 2021. Ian is President of Horizon Consumer Science with more than 25 years of experience helping develop and manage consumer brands in Australia and other parts of the world. Ian is Chair of the Community Health Advisory Group and a member of the Finance & Audit Committee.

Susanty Tay

Slobodanka Jevtic
Board Director
Slobodanka joined the Corryong Health Board in July 2022 and lives locally in Corryong. Slobodanka is a member of the of Community Health Advisory Group. Slobodanka works in the telecommunications industry.
Board Director
Dr Susanty Tay is a specialist medical administrator, with a Diploma of Child Health, Masters of Health Management and a Fellow of both the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators and Australasian College of Health Service Management. She completed her MBBS with honours from the University of Western Australia in 2010 and subsequently specialised in Medical Administration after she led a successful service improvement project as part of her Service Improvement term in WA. She has a unique career in health management spanning across multiple facets of healthcare including public hospitals, private hospitals, Western Australia (WA) State Department of Health and Corporate. Her broad based experience equipped her with a unique approach to analysing and resolving complex clinical and organisational problems.
She is currently the Executive Director Medical Services for Northeast Health Wangaratta, with professional responsibility for the recruitment, credentialing and management of Visiting Medical Officers, Staff Specialists and Hospital Medical Officers across all clinical services. She has recently joined Corryong Health Board of Directors and brings along skills in clinical governance. Susanty moved to the Northeast region a year ago along with her family. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son who is currently in preschool.
